Hi - you have posted your question in a forum dedicated to the Intel Fortran compiler product. We don't have expertise on CPU issues such as you describe. I suggest you try http://communities.intel.com/community/tech/processors

I'm not familiar with this error. To me it looks like you have a bad memory dimm. It's hanging off the first socket's memory controller, "bank 9" where ever that is. Pull out your hardware manuals and try to find that.

I'd run some memory diagnostics and call your HP hardware support. If you don't have support, You could also switch dimms around physically to see the error moves - that would clearly show that one of the dimms is bad. Note that the error is a "Corrected error" which indicates that the error correction HW is fixing the bad memory for now, still it's an indicator that the dimm needs to go.

See this: http://h30499.www3.hp.com/t5/ProLiant-Servers-ML-DL-SL/DL980-Memory-error/td-p/5720521#.UAVvI3B6Pak

Hi ronald. thank u for replying to me.
are u sure it has bad memory in a server?
when i run the hp insight diagnostic (this is a application for memory test) we passed all of the steps without error and in front of the sever (error panel ) we dont have any error and again in the POST steps same az.
we see the error only in the mce log on the oprating system!!!!!!!

"Generic undefined request" seems suspicious.

Do you have the same (type, manufacturer, model,....)memory installed in all sockets?
