Nobody who reads here can give you a definite answer. All I know is that HP has decided to continue selling CVF 6.6 with no specified end date. I can tell you that if you want the Professional Edition, HP will stop selling that mid-March due to contractural obligations.
From the Intel perspective, we would clearly prefer HP to stop selling CVF and to cross-promote the Intel compiler. That had been the plan with Compaq. Things changed under HP....
I have seen a statement from HP acknowledging that there is no further development of CVF. But as to when HP will stop manufacturing new CVF 6.6 Standard kits, no one knows right now. I have to assume that at some point, sales will taper off to the point where it's no longer productive for them to keep it going.
