Can't access Help

I have recently re-loaded VF 5.0D on a new (Win XP) machine, but find I can't access the Help pages. When I click on 'Search', and then choose a topic I get the 'The Page Cannot be Displayed' web page message. (This happens whether or not I am online.) On myprevious (Win98) machine, the help library wasavailable on my hard drive - how can I get to it now, please?
