Choosing fortran compiler

Hi,
I am looking for a good fortran compiler for windows platform for my institute. I would like to know, why I should prefer Intel fortran 7.0 over LF 95?

Since you know the requirements of your institute far better than we, you should be doing your own evaluation. Among the excellent sources for comparing strengths of various compilers, see http://www.polyhedron.co.uk/
Much too briefly, Lahey are extremely strong in their customer service over a period of years and the availability of consulting services. Intel leads in support for the capabilities of the latest Intel processors.
