Configuration Type

Why is Configuration Type inactive in an IVF's project's property pages? It isn't in Vc, so any chance of it coming to IVF? For example, it wouldbe handy for switching between static and dynamic libs as opposed to building two separate projects.

Gerry,

I'm not sure to what you are referring. I can't identify anything called "configuration type". Please explain in more detail.

Sorry for not being clear. Open a mixed Vc/IVF solution. Right click on the Vc project and select Properties. The Vc project's Property Pages opens with Configuration Properties/General having focus. The first entry under Project Defaults is Configuration Type (.exe,.dll,.lib, makefile, utility). Repeat for the IVF project: Configuration Type is dithered.

Fascinating - I never knew it was there.

I do know that the Fortran integration doesn't do all of the things that the MSVC projects can do. Feel free to submit a feature request to Intel Premier Support.
