Digital visual Fortran 6.0A : dfdev.exe error

Dear all,

i'm trying to install Digital visual fortran on a computer (it works fine on other computer), but i'm getting an error after installation, when i click on the File tab.

An application error occurs, with DFDEV.exe file.

I tried to delete the registry keys, but it is still not working.

I search for the dll that is called devshl.dll (on window error report) and i found one and only one dll.

Is there something i should do ?

the computer is a dell precision on windows Xp service Pack 3

DVF 6.0 is eleven years old - do you not have any updates for it? I don't remember an issue like what you describe with DVF.

I have to check the licensing agreement to check if i have upgrade for this software.
