Downloadable file is not unpacked, could you let me know how to do?
This is my computer situation as follows,

Question:

tar -xzvf l_fcompxe_2011.4.191.tgz

--> manualsays"tar -xzvf name-of-downloaded-file"
Ihave a questionwhether this option in order to unpack is correct or not.

Could you let me knowhow tounpack? Is there any option andcommand to unzip??

The command cited to unpack the file is correct. It appears the downloaded file may be corrupted. Please download the file again and unpack using the command you cited.

Be sure to remove the l_fcompxe_2011.4.191 directory before re-trying the unpack.

It is possible to check whether the downloaded file is complete and uncorrupted. After downloading, you can compare the size and the checksum to those posted at Intel Composer XE 2011 Checksums. Doing may save you time if you can pin down the cause of the failure as a problem with the download rather than something else in your system.
