Fortran Samples for Dual Core programming

The following is an inquiry received by Intel Software Network Support, followed by a response supplied by an expert from this forum.

Q. Please send me Fortran Examples (Samples) for Dual Core programming.

A. You did not specify whether you are running Windows* or Linux*, but for best results, we recommend using OpenMP, and there are some Fortran samples at: http://www.openmp.org/drupal/node/view/14*

These would need to be compiled with the -openmp (Linux*) or /Qopenmp (Windows*) option.

There is a chapter in the documentation on using OpenMP, and it provides a pointer to www.openmp.org*; that is an industry standard.
