Dear Intel Support Team,

I have problem with Fortran 11.1 installation usinglicensefile (alt activation)for x64 as messagebelow :

---------------------------------------

Pre Requisite Issues Summary.

Intel Professional Edition Compiler requires that a Microsoft development product be installed.

Option 1 - Do not installed Intel Fortran Compiler .... . I will install later

Option 2 - Continue installing and use the Microsoft Platform SDK folder

----------------------------------------

We tried option 1 and got error message - one or more mandatory item have not been selected.

We tried option 2 and we need to browse Microsoft SDK folder but did'nt know the folder location
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Appreciate your help.
Thank you.

Are not the messages self-explanatory? You need a Microsoft development product (Visual Studio or Platform SDK) installed and working before you can install Intel Fortran. The Intel compiler can neither be installed nor can it work without the prerequisites having been satisfied.

If you have the PSDK but the installer did not find it, it will ask you to provide the directory containing the PSDK.

Please download the larger installer that includes Microsoft Visual Studio 2008 Shell and install that. I assume you have a purchased license.
