We do most of our Fortran compilation on the command line, using CVF and Fortran generated code. We then link the code, once again from the command line.
As I understand it, the new Intel Fortran will not come with a linker, we have to buy it from Microsoft.
The Microsoft linker (and command line C++ compiler) is currently distributed free of charge with the .Net Framework SDK, see http://winprog.org/tutorial/msvc.html
Are there any plans to distribute the Microsoft linker with Intel Fortran? This would be very helpful to us.
All the best,
Eddie

The last I looked at this, it did not include everything needed. I'll take another look. Note that just because MS distributes something, that doesn't give Intel the right to do so. But it is an interesting development. I'll let you know what I find.
