I have a newworkstation which is great; dual quad core baby. I am in the process of installing the Intel Fortran v11.1. software on a new workstation. The problem is I have the license for the OLD workstation. I want to move the license from the old to the new. How do I go about doing that?

You need simply copy the *.lic files from the folder
C:\Program Files\Common Files\Intel\Licenses
You are permitted to have the compiler installed on multiple machines simultaneously as long as only you are using them, and only one copy is in use at a time - check the Intel documentation.

You don't need to copy anything. Just install again using the serial number. The exception is if your serial number is from a previous version - in that case, you can copy the .LIC if you like or ask the Intel Registration Center to email you a copy of your license file.
