I have been downloading the various w_fc_pu_7.1.0xx as I received the notifications from the Premier Support center. I have not yet installed the original compiler from the CD, because it did not have functionality that I was using in CVF6.6. I would like to know if these "updates" are complete versions of the intel compiler v7.1 or patches? Do I need to keep any of the prior w_fc_pu7.1.0xx files or does the latest one contain all the prior fixes/updates?
Thanks
Steve

As you must have noticed, each Windows compiler update requires removal of previous 7.x versions, completely replacing them. No patch system has come out. The only reason for keeping previous versions of the installer would be in case you want to be able to revert to them.

As Tim says, at 140MB or so, these aren't patches. But don't look for new features in the 7.1 updates either.
We are working om doing patches for a future version, though.
