IMSL 7 is not available through Intel. Roguewave provides libraries and modules for IFort 11, but these work with IFort 12 with a few exceptions. Some IFort 11-compiled modules cause the IFort 12 compiler to crash. Some IMSL routines may require special flags (e.g., -Qftz- for routine IVOAM) .
The installation is routine. Roguewave provides an installer which works smoothly. Start-up scripts are provided to set up an environment for IFort to use IMSL.
Please consider which combination best suits your needs:
IMSL FNL7 with IVF 11 (supported by Roguewave)
IVF12 with IMSL FNL6, sold and supported by Intel and resellers.
IVF 12 and FNL7 (your present selection, works most of the time, but not supported in this combination by either vendor)
