Is it possible to use a previously installed IMSL Library (from Digital Visual Fortran 6.0) with the new Intel Fortran Compiler 9.0 (evaluation version)?

No. The IMSL library from CVF was compiled with CVF and the object code is incompatible with Intel Visual Fortran.
