IVF 8.1 Eval Internal Compiler Error (Code 1)

I've just downloaded the IVF 8.1 evaluation and loaded it into VS.NET 2003. I've managed to open and convert my FORTRAN/C/C++ application, but much of the FORTRAN refuses to compile.
It seems to be related to compiling code that references structures in alarge UNION/MAP. Are there any known problems with that?
'Porting Application From Compaq Visual Fortran to Intel Visual Fortran' does not indicate any such problems...

(This is on WinXP, and the error is C0000005, which is an access violation).

Not that I know of offhand. Please submit an example to Premier Support and we'll look at it. You will need to register first if you haven't already done so.
