IVF and databases

Hi All!
We are trying to connect and use a database (MS SQL server) in a fortran (IVF) project and we are having some problems... We have tried different approaches with little or nosuccess:
1. f90SQL from CanaimaSoft works with CVF but we have migrated to IVF and a version forIVF seems far off? Does CanaimaSoft still exist?
2. The fortran module wizard produces some kind of interaface, but the functions seems very hard to understand and use.
3. "Wrapper" funtions in VB.NET for the database connection and use them from fortran.
My question is:
Has someone successfully used databases with IVF???
Best regards,
Gran
