IVF8 Software Requirements

The release notes for the latest version of IVF8 state that one of the software requirements for developing Itanium-based applications is the Microsoft Platform SDK. I went to MSDN and found that the Platform SDK is divided into several pieces: Core SDK, Internet SDK, etc.

Which pieces have to be installed for developing Itanium-based applications?

As I recall from installing these SDK's, the basic C compiler support is sufficient, along with the additional core sections which are selected automatically as requirements.These options aremore self-explanatory than in the Visual Studio installation.

For native Itanium, just the core SDK is sufficient.
