Hi *,

during Installing Visual Fortran Compiler Professional Edition incl. Microsoft Visual Studio 2008 Shell and Libraries (by just executing Setup.exe) I received the following Pop-Up:

"Error while installing package
C:\\TEMP\\Intel\\Download\\fw_cprof_p_11.1.067\\installs\\1033\\w_cprof_ide_ia32_emhe_p_11.1.067/w_cprof_ide_ia32_emhe_p_11.1.067.msi"

Do I have to install something before executing Setup.exe? All hints are welcomed.

Cheers,
Thomas

One cause of such problems can be inadequate free space in the %TEMP% and/or %TMP% directories to extract the distribution files during the course of the installation.

That is not the case. There is only partition and there are still 100GB of free disk space. In the log-files which I received after the installation has failed I found the following error messages:

<<<

26890:Internal call: error code: 259 (There are no more files available

Any ideas?

Thanks,
