Intel Fortran 9.1 Object library compatibility with version 11

I would like to know if the object libraries built with compiler version 9.1 are compatible with the version 11?
In other wards, can I use to link applications in Version 11 with the object libraries built in version 9.1.

Overall the answer is yes older object files can link with a newer compiler. But there are some caveats here.
