Intel Fortran Compiler Installation Failed After Forced Termination

Dear Intel Support Team,

I encountered an issue while installing Intel Fortran Compiler on Windows.

During the installation, the progress appeared to be stalled for a very long time. I first attempted to cancel the installation, but the installer did not close even after waiting. As a result, I terminated the installer process using Windows Task Manager.

After this interruption, I am no longer able to install or uninstall Intel Fortran Compiler.

The following error is currently displayed:

Error:
Removal of components has failed.

Component ID:
intel.oneapi.win.cpp-compiler.ide.vcperflib_bt_vs2026

Component Name:
IDE C++ VC Perflib for BT Visual Studio 2026

Version:
2026.0.0+163

Could you please advise how to completely clean up the interrupted installation and restore the system to a state where Intel Fortran Compiler can be installed again?

Thank you for your support.

Best regards,
Ryo

Hello Intel Support Team,

I would like to inform you that the issue has been resolved.

After waiting for some time and attempting the installation again, Intel Fortran Compiler was installed successfully without any errors.

It appears that the problem was temporary, and no further assistance is required.

Thank you for your support and your time.

Best regards,
Ryo
