The Intel Math Kernel Library (Intel MKL) has an extensive collection of multi-core ready, highly optimized software functions for science, engineering, and financial applications. It is offered as a standalone product as well as an important component of the new Intel Composer XE 2011 (Formerly Intel Compiler Professional Edition). In this talk we will show how to set up an application to use Intel MKL from within the Intel Composer XE product, show what kind of functions offer in this latest version and survey the latest performance improvements.
