Intel Parallel Studio Setup won't detect Visual Studio 2015 installation

Hi,

I need to setup Intel Visual Fortran Compiler 2017 for compiling some user-functions under Marc2017.1.

I've setup Microsoft Visual Studio 2015 Professional (before I had another try with the Standard Edition but nothing changed) but the VIF setup still says that he cannot find any of the requirements.

I' ve done a lot of googling but nothing pointed me in the right direction.

any suggestion or idea please?

Thank you for the suggestion.

I really don't know what was going wrong here. a couple of machine reboots and the Intel Setup recognized the Visual Studio 2015 presence....

Really strange....but seems to be fixed.
