Hello,

I tried to install the Intel Visual Frortran Studio XE but I get some messages which are shown in the attached Word file.  The other attached document shows the Intel Visual Fortran Studio XE comes with Microsoft Visual Studio Shell and Libraries (highlighted in yellow).  It appears that Visual Studio Shell and Libraries are not installed.  I used these with PTI PSS/E software.  How can I get the Visual Studio Shell and Libraries installed which are part of the software I purchased?

Could you please help me resovle this issues?

Thanks

The instructions in the error message tell how to proceed if you want the vs shell. Other options of increasing bulk include installation of vs2013 or 2015 community, if you meet Microsoft requirements.

It appears you have the correct Intel® Parallel Studio XE 2016 installation image containing the Visual Studio 2013 shell software; however, as Tim indicated, the installer is warning you that you must install Microsoft Windows SDK* for Windows* 8.1 first.

As instructed, visit the URL in message, https://software.intel.com/en-us/vs2013shell-windowssdk, for detailed instructions for installing that SDK. You should exit the Intel® Parallel Studio XE 2016 installation at this point and then after the SDK is installed, restart the Intel® Parallel Studio XE installation.
