I was responding to an email on a list server this morning. Like Fortran, math has some weird rules. The 72 column limit is a human artifact we have lived with for 50 years.
So my comments were -- just to tease the pot
Three things would happen in a perfect world
0 and 1 are primes – which they are - the stupid theory that it needs two divisors 1 and itself is flawed
Euler’s Conjecture is true under 1, as it should be – saying a zero on a function is not part of the function is like saying the Sydney Harbour Bridge is just a bridge
Metric would be universal.
For interesting reasons no 2 is pure Fortran at least in my world.
I wish you all a nice day.
