Hewlett-Packard has announced the retirement of Compaq Visual Fortran (CVF) to be effective December 31, 2005, and is recommending that CVF users migrate to Intel Visual Fortran. More information, including special upgrade pricing, is available at our upgrade page.

In support of this, we have opened a new section of the forum, the CVF Migration Center, to provide focused assistance to users migrating from Compaq* Visual Fortran to Intel Visual Fortran. If you are in the process of making this change, please take advantage of the documents and tips referenced there, and feel free to ask migration questions there as well.
