Microsoft Visual Studio 2012 Debug View Adjustments

Hello,

I was previously using MVS2010 and during debug mode, when I used a breakpoint, I was able to see the values of the variables when I scrolled my mouse on the variable. now, I upgraded to MVS2012, I am not able to do the same. I went to tools->options->debug. However, I was not able to see any button that would turn on seeing the value of the variable when I scrolled on them during the debug mode. Can you help me how I can fix this? I hope I was clear with my question. Please let me know if it needs clarification.

What is the exact compiler version you are using? We fixed problems similar to this in Composer XE 2013 Update 1.

It is Composer XE 2013. I just got the latest version of Intel Fortran (student edition) and MVS2012

That doesn't tell me what I need to know. What does it display in Visual Studio under Help > About > Intel Visual Fortran?

Thanks - please install a more recent update - I think the problem you have was fixed in Update 2. 2013 SP1 is the current version (came after Update 5)

Thank you. I am surprised you update it so quickly. I just installed it in August actually. At your student website, I can purchase a new one but there is no update option. Do you know how I can upgrade it cheaply as a student?

You should have one year of updates. We tend to update monthly, with some exceptions. Log in to the Intel Registration Center, register your serial nuimber if not already registered, and it should show you the latest update.
