Need help understanding multiple projects in a Solution (MS Studio)

Hi,

I've spent hours on the net, but still can find a reference to a Fortran (or even C++) explanation.

I would like to make two related Fortran programs, one to do a long (100 hr) computation and another the output the results. The two programs need to access some common module and subroutines.

If I create another Fortran project in the same solution, moving some of the key subroutines to the new solution, there seems to be no reference, even in the Solution Browser, to the fact that each project requires subroutines and modules in the other. This was never a problem in CVF. Could someone provide a quick explanation as to how to achieve and verify my goal, without extensive experimentation. I desire only one source for the shared modules, but would like to edit them in either project.

Simply add the same source files to each project, no matter where they're located on disk. Don't "move" the files.

You may want to consider putting common routines ina static library project, but that's optional.
