No command prompt in INTEL menu after installing IFC 2011

I installed IFC 2011 and there is no option for a command prompt in the INTEL menu under the stat button.

It should be under Intel Parallel Studio XE 2011 > Command Prompt

If it is not there, it is likely you're missing the prerequisite Microsoft tools, either from the included Visual Studio Shell or from a separate Microsoft installation as listed in the System Requirements part of the Release Notes.

I installed VS 2012 C++ express beore installing IFC.  Do I need to install the full VS suite

Intel Visual Fortran Composer XE 2011 does not recognize VS2012. You would need our 2013 version for that. If you install the 2013 version you should get the command prompt.

Are you using an evaluation license? If not, the product includes everything needed for use at the command line.
