Problem installing Parallel Studio XE 2016

Installation stops at "splash screen" without any error message.

Our apologies for the problems installing. I sent you a private reply with details about installation logs if you want to inspect those to see if there's any hints about the installation froze or forwarding those to us for inspection.

The analysis of the WMI failure we have discussed in private relates to your Windows OS. You are using Windows XP which is not supported. Had you not experienced the WMI failure with our installer it would have prevented installation on Windows XP and issued the pre-requisite failure as shown below.

The WMI failure will be fixed in the PSXE 2016 Update 1 tentatively set for release in the mid-Q4 '15 timeframe.

Please refer to the Intel Visual Fortran Compiler 16.0 for Windows* Release Notes for Intel Parallel Studio XE 2016 for details on the supported versions of  Windows*.
