Problem with Compaq visual fortran

I am working on real time project wchich deals with optimizaton of cutting tools. I am using "Compaq visual fortran 6.0" to solve iterations and get optimum solution. While executing the program I am encountering the error

M6201 math error -sqrt domain and while debugging i am not able to see the array variable values in the WATCH WINDOW and i am getting error CXXOO17 "Var" not found. I would be grateful if anyone can help me out.
