Have just received notification of update to w_fc_p_10.1.021.exe
I currently have the version installed that includes Visual Studio 2005 Premier Partner Edition. (ie an earlier version of 10).
Do I need to download the full w_fc_p_10.1.021.exe version that includes VSPPE (ie. 302 MB), or can I just download the update file w_fc_p_10.1.021_novsppe.exe (111 MB)?
The latter is stated as being for "customers who have Microsoft Visual Studio* already installed". Does that include those with VSPPE "already installed"?
ie. if I install the w_fc_p_10.1.021_novsppe.exe file, will it retain the VSPPE that I alread have, or will it uninstall VSPPE?
Thanks
David

Yes, it includes those who already have VSPPE. By selecting the "novsppe" download you save yourself some 200MB. VSPPE does not get updated (we don't get anything new from MS.)
Once you have installed any version of VS, including VSPPE, select one of the download options that omits VSPPE.

Many thanks for such a prompt response. Very happy to trim 200MB off the DL :).
