Do not install any Visual Studio Express Edition, and if you did install one, please uninstall it before installing Intel Parallel Studio XE.
If you aren't using the Community Edition of Visual Studio, then Professional or Enterprise Edition will work.
I recommend the latest Visual Studio version supported by the version of Parallel Studio XE you use. You can see a list here. If the choice is between 2010 and 2012, use 2012.

In continuation to my earlier query, I am glad to know that Microsoft visual studio 2012, express or enterprise edition would work both Intel Fortan as well as for running my other existing C# codes.
However, what about Microsoft Visual studio 2013 ? Does it support both types of codes with Express or Enterprise edition?
Please inform the complete description that would be required for putting the purchase specification of Microsoft visual studio to cover both types of codes. Is it Microsoft Visual studio 2012 or 2013 C++ Express Edition or Enterprise edition or any other description.
Regards,
S. S.

Steve already advised you not to try express. Vs2013 community and enterprise work well with ifort.

Following your suggestion for recently purchased “Intel Parallel Studio XE Composer Edition”., we have arrange to uninstall other Microsoft visual studio and install only Intel Parallel Studio XE. Now, intel Fortran is running fine.
But to run my other codes written in C# ( c-sharp ) codes or C++ codes, should we go for Visual studio 2012/ 2013/ 2015 Professional version or any other version you suggest for smooth running in addition to running of intel fortran codes in the same computer .
What should be the total specification of the visual studio that I order before purchse?
Regards,
S. S

I would recommend Visual Studio 2015 Professional Edition. Install that, select the "custom" install to add C++ to the languages supported. Then install or reinstall (as a change/modify) Parallel Studio XE.

Dear Mr. Steve,
You have suggested on January 15 ( Yesterday) for the installation of Visual Studio 2015 Professional Edition.
Now, at present, the desktop is already loaded with Intel parallel studio XE composer edition
But It is not clear from your posting about the steps tobe followed: whether I need to uninstall the parallel studio XE composer edition first, followed by the installation of Visual Studio 2015 Professional Edition. Should I need to re-install again the parallel studio XE composer edition? If yes, I hope the combination of Visual Studio 2015 Professional Edition and parallel studio XE composer edition would not create any problem.
If all of the above steps are alright, in that case I should be able to run the C# ( C-sharp) codes that were running earlier.
Regards,
S. S.

If you already have Parallel Studio XE installed, then after installing VS2015 go into Programs and Features, select Intel Parallel Studio XE and then click Change/Modify or Uninstall/Change. When the Parallel Studio XE install dialog comes up, select Modify and then just Next through all the pages, You'll come to one that says "Choose Integration Target" and it will list all of the supported VS versions you have installed. Check the box for VS2015 and proceed with the install. It will add in the VS2015 support.

Dear Steve,
I hope as per your suggestion, following the installation of visual studio 2015 professional Edition , the previously installed |C# ( C-sharp ) codes in the computer can be compiled and executed. This operation will be effective apart from the running the Fortran codes using intel Fortran compiler. Is it confirmed then we can proceed with purchase of Visual studio 2015.
Regards,
S. S.

There will be no effect on C# from following the steps I suggested.
