RHEL 6.5 and Intel Visual Fortran 15: gdb will not start

I am getting the following errors when I attempt to start gdb:

jack 77# gdb
Could not find platform independent libraries <prefix>
Could not find platform dependent libraries <exec_prefix>
Consider setting $PYTHONHOME to <prefix>[:<exec_prefix>]
ImportError: No module named site

Any suggestions?

You should have installed gdb-ia as part of your ifort installation.  Use that one.
