I paid for the annual licence fee for the Intel Compiler and got a new serial number. It arrived in a nice email from Intel.

It is different from my old serial number even though it is a renewal.

When I go to register the new serial number I am told it is already registered but I have no idea where

How do I sort out the interested conundrum

I don't think the Intel folks work over the weekend. Give it another couple of days. They're usually pretty good.
