I updated oneAPI 2023.1 to 2023.2.
Normally I download the offline installers, but for some reason, this time I used the on-line installer.
After installation, I was able to build and run my applications.
Then I desired to use VTune.
VTune works in non-admin mode, without hardware sampling (Intel NUC) to do Hotspots.
In admin-mode with hardware sampling, VTune starts the application, when I stop the run into the program, intending to collect data, VTune reports nothing collected, and returns to the IDE.
Yesterday, I did a repair of the HPC kit, which ran OK, today I am performing a repair on the Base kit. The repair process is going very slowly. It is about 2 hours into repair, and seemingly stuck at 96%. The disk I/O is at /near 100%, or had been, now it has dropped.
? Is Repair of Offline installation (to spinning HD) supposed to take a few hours to complete?
