Search Forum bug?

Hi All,

I've been off the forum for a while and the interface has changed a bit. I tried to search ("Search Forum") for information on "premier partner" to get information on the bundled VS2005/PPE and got a search results page indicating 3 result pages. When I tried to advance to the next page (either by picking "2" or "next") I ended up on page 2 of the forum threads, rather than on page 2 of the search results. Am I doing something wrong or is there a bug in "Search Forum"?

This happens on both Firefox (3.0.10) and IE (7.0.5730.11).

Thx, Longden

It's a bug - I'll report it. Thanks.

What did you want to know? The Release Notes provide a pretty good description.

I'm just ready to upgrade from IVF-10/VS2003 to IVF-11/VS2008. When I got ready to download, I saw the VS2005/PPE bundle so I just needed to get my arms around the issue of VS2005 vs VS2008.

I just wanted to see what kind of issues forum members encountered in general and the reasons for choosing (or not choosing) various distros.

I read the Release notes but typically my eyes glaze over anything longer than 1 page. Usually, the issues/limitations that most concern me appear on this forum pioneered by other bleeding edge users (my thanks to you all).

For example, the search results (on the first page) turned up the PPE limitation on mixed languages which I had missed on the Notes where the wording (item #5) is a bit harder to understand.

I'll be sure to re-post on another thread when I have a more pointed question to raise. Thanks.
