Hi, Steve.
I applied the student free Intel Parallel Studio XE Composer Edition for Fortran OS X and got one serial number.
1: I download the 2016 version but it's 'm_fcompxe_2016.0.033.app' file within the dmg file and double-click couldn't work to install it.
2: Then I downloaded the 2015 version(update 5) from the additional links, and it's a mpkg file which can be installed. After offering my seal number, it told me 'The Serial Number provided is not valid for this solution set'. I only have one serial number.
What should i do to solve these two problems? Thanks!

The problem you experienced with the PSXE 2016 Composer Edition for OS X* is an unfortunate known issue that will be resolved in the upcoming PSXE 2016 Update 1 in just a couple of weeks.
The second issue relates to underlying named-user license changes related to the PSXE 2016 release. To overcome this you can refer to the article, How Do I Get My License File for Intel® Parallel Studio XE 2016 or Intel® System Studio 2016?, for the steps/process necessary to register the host id and generate a license file that you can then download/email to use during the installation of the PSXE 2015 Composer Edition for OS X*.
If waiting for the PSXE 2016 Update 1 is an option for you, you will only need to provide your new S/N during the installation and the manual steps that I mentioned above for obtaining/registering your host id and license file would be automated during the installation itself.
We apologize for the inconvenience.
