Sockets Programming

I have recently switched from CVF (version 6.6) to I-Fortran version 8. I'm currently using events and shared global mapping (Shared section) for inter-processor communications and I would like to use sockets to distribute my processing across multiple machines. Is there an example I could have access to, illustrating the programming in Sockets, it is mucheasier to follow the currently existing logic as opposed toinventing a new stream.
Many Thanks
