If I read the software requirements for Intel Visual Fortran correctly, a new classroom license for Windowsrequires that Visual Studio 2005 or 2003 be installed. Correct?

I believe one of Steve's previous posts confirms this, but I couldn't find it. Of course, for command line operation only, VS 2005 or 2008 Express would be sufficient.

That is correct. Classroom and Student licenses do not include Visual Studio, so it needs to be obtained separately. Typically such users already have access to Visual Studio at very generous terms from Microsoft.
