Stack Frame in Visual Studio

When the program stops at a breakpoint in VS 2008 the StackFrame drop list will not always let you expand the calling sequence to the routine where the break occurs. Sometimes it will do it once and then the text turns red and you can't expand it anymore. I am assuming that this is equivalent to the Call Stack window in Visual Studio 6 where you could double click the window to open the source file and position the cursor at the appropriate procedure statement.
Has anyone elseexperienced this?
