Uninitialized variables and forum support questions

I'm dealing with some legacy software with uninitialized variables and wondered if there was a compiler option to flag these for detection and subsequent manual correction.

I see compiler options to set local/saved/unitialized variables to zero, and a runtime check option, but other compilers I've worked with usually had a compiler option to flag these for manual removal/fix. I'm using IVF 9.0.028 (a bit behind due to some project schedules).

On the forum question, my Premier Support for IVF is set to expire soon and I wondered if that would disable or otherwise limit my access to this forum.

There is not at present an option to flag uninitialized variables at compile time. I agree that this would be nice.

You do not need to have a current support license in order to use this forum.
