Hello,

On dec. 17 I received a message from Intel that a new
update (v.0.028) was available via a link,

w_fc_c_9.0.028_IA32.exe

However, the link responds with file not found,
or something to that effect.

Could you please provide me with the proper link, I would like to avoid the complete 250 MB download.

The normal way to get it would be by logging into premier.intel.com. If that site is broken, as it appears to be right now, it's not surprising the other link would be broken. It looks like someone had some success in mounting a denial of service attack against Intel sites over the weekend.
