Hello,
I was wondering how I can go about updating my intel compiler and math kernel library to the newest versions? I currently have a student license, but I purchased the products about 2 years ago. Do I need to pay for another license?
Also, how many computers am I allowed to install the software on? I have a desktop and a laptop that I would like to both have the software.
Thanks,
Mandrew

Renewals only add another year to the EXPIRATION DATE of the previous license and NOT from date of purchase. So you'll probably have to buy a new license. Also, to my knowledge renewals are only offered for commercial licenses and not for Student licenses.
BUT MKL is bundled with the Compiler Professional Edition, so only 1 license needed.
Here is a lot more information:

Student license information/cost is here:

Thanks for the help.
If I first purchased the intel fortran compiler 10.0 and my license has not yet expired, can I update to the newest version (11.0) or do I need to purchase another license?

Your license has a support expiration date. If you log in to the Intel Registration Center, it will tell you when your license expires and the most recent version you are eligible to install.

Except for Node-lock which isn't applicable in your case, an unlimited number of computers with provisions.Refer to section 3C in the End-User License agreement provided with your compiler or (here).
