Hi
I'm using Digital Visual Fortran 5.0a with the upgrade to 5.0.D.
I'm would like to upgrade to a new version. I downloaded from
intel Visual Fortran the 7.1 trial Version, but i can't get it
started.
- Do i need to use additional software i order to use IDE enviroment ?
- Can i use Digital Fortran Enviroment?/
- Is Compaq VIsual Fortran complete with the IDE enviroment?
I have VIsual Studio 6.0 for use with Visual Foxpro
Thank

Intel Fortran 7.1 will not do anything with DVF 5.0. It will "plug in" to the Visual Studio 6 IDE, but in a somewhat crude manner. Still, this may be adequate for you. Select the option when you install it. For full IDE integration, you need Visual C++.NET or Visual Studio.NET.
Intel Visual Fortran 8.0 will require VC++.NET and will not support the "plugin" for VC6.
