Hello,
After installing the latest IVF11.1 release with VS2008 Shell, I can't compile because the compiler cannot find the ISO_C_BINDING intrinsic module.
I have run 'repairvs08integration.exe', and this runs through without errors. Where should I look next?
Thanks,
Stephen.

Sorry to hear that - I'll take over the issue on Premier Support and we'll work it out.

All is present and correct, but there are other issues with my installation which I think may be connected with the fact that I've installed VS2008 Shell over the remains of an evaluation version of VS2008 Pro (which worked perfectly, but which I decided I didn't want to keep).
I'll take things up with Premier Support.
Thanks,
Stephen,

Oh, yeah, that could cause problems. Try to uninstall all VS2008 stuff first and then try again.

Sorry to raise this here, Steve, but three weeks on Premier Support haven't even acknowledged my issue (#559666, for what it's worth), and I'm still at a standstill and unable to compile anything at all. What does one have to do to get these people's attention?
Despite having tried some thrid-party registry cleanup software, there's obviously some vestige of VS2008 Pro still present that causes the IVF installer to choke. If I can't get support within the next couple of days I'll have to go ahead with the 'nuclear option' of a complete system rebuild, but I'd rather avoid that if I possibly can.
Stephen.
