Hi , Please the customer wants:

" I will develop a finite element program. The program will have three parts: pre-processor, simulator and post-processor. I will need to use a graphic environment of programming to create the pre and post-processor parts. The pre and post-processor will have the common features of a finite element program. I will use a line environment of programming to create the simulator part.

I intend to buy Intel Visual Fortran Compiler 9.0 Professional to perform the above task. However, I would like to know if I could to develop the pre and post-processor parts using the Intel Compiler together with Microsoft Visual C++ or if it will be better to use Intel Compiler together with Microsoft Visual Studio"

I'm not sure I understand your question. Visual Studio is a Microsoft product that includes a number of development tools, such as Visual C++, Visual Basic, C#, etc. It's not a case of one or the other but whether you will find the additional tools in Visual Studio useful.

The point may be rapidly becoming moot, though, as Microsoft no longer sells Visual C++ independently.

You can certainly use Intel Visual Fortran for this project. You will need to have one of the prerequisite MS products installed as well.
