This is an unfortunate problem. The versions supported by Intel Visual Fortran 9.0 are:
Visual C++.NET 2002 or 2003
Visual Studio.NET 2002 or 2003
We've recently become aware that resellers no longer have the 2003 products available to sell.
We are currently in beta test with a version that supports VS2005 (Standard Edition or above.) Send me e-mail at steve.lionel at intel.com if you would like to join the beta.

Precisely why it is a bad idea to require a separate product that you have no control over its marketing. That's included in the definition of "integration"...this deserves a "duh" (and a "doh").

Steve,
Any idea when the VS 2005 version will be out of beta? We are considering changing over from CVF6.6 to Intel v9.0... when is the best time?
I don't suppose there is anyway to look at integration with the VS.NET Express editions?
Incidently, provided all runtimes were available, would a DLL compiled in CVF6.6C run with and EXE compiled with Intel v9.0?
Cheers,
Dan

Dan,
I can't really talk about the release date at this time other than to say it is at least two months out.
As for Visual Studio Express edition, unfortunately Microsoft has locked out all third-party compiler vendors from the IDE of this edition. We WILL be enabling command-line compatibility with the Express Edition, if that is of any help. (And you can get it working today by following the steps in the "sticky" post I made the other day.)
Gary, you and I are of the same mind on this issue. None of us here like the current situation and the hassle going on now has prompted some action where it had not before. Nothing is going to change in the short term, but there is hope for the longer term. Nothing would make me happier than to be able to ship a complete product a la CVF.

Hi
Thanks for your response.
Steve, I emailed your email address from my hotmail account
I am interested to know more and use this version. I am also trying to also merge some matlab programs (MEX) with the FORTRAN compiler, as it stands right now I am using a sun compiler, I am very interested to see if it will work with the intel comipler.
You can respond here or email me at o_bacct at hotmail.com or oren.sternberg at gmail.com
Regards,
Oren
