Visual Studio 2026 Support

Visual Studio 2026 was released 11 November 2025. The release notes for the latest Intel Fortran release 2025.3.1 only lists Visual Studio 2022 and 2019 support.

Any idea when Intel Fortran will support Visual Studio 2026?

2026 has interesting features, it has some memory problems.

+1 can't wait for Intel Fortran to support VS2026. The ability to integrate your Anthropic Keys for AI support in Fortran projects will be great.

As is happens I needed to do something in C# which isn't loaded in my VS2022 and then discovered that for VS community 2026 is now the only game in town for download. Thankfully it didn't mess up my 2022 install. It will be nice when it has Fortran support as I do no like too much clutter.

Intel is working on the new compiler updates to introduce support. Note that it usually comes with a new minor version update. Please expect to receive it at the end of next month.
