We cannot get Intel Fortran 14.0.3.166 to install on MacOS 10.9.x, either a clean install using the license.lic file, or on 10.9.3 which was upgraded from 10.8.5.

10.8 ifort works fine with the license server.

The license manager is up and ready, and the same license server works on Linux ifort.

xcode-select --install fails with server error, but the Command Line Tools are installed from the Apr 2014 dog.

root cause was an older license server.  Updating the license server fixed this issue.
