Perhaps you wouldn't be so surprised if you read discussions bearing on this topic, including the one at the top of the forum. Would you volunteer to run all the tests on both Windows 2008 R2 32- and 64-bit, with both 32- and 64-bit compilers, if someone handed you a test suite? Would that answer your question?

Intel Visual Fortran 11.1 Update 2 is supported on Windows 7. Earlier versions may not install or compile properly on some Windows 7 systems.
